The Baglio

Our house

Built in 1875 by the historic Florio family, the Baglio is a rare example of Sicilian rural architecture, nestled in the hills of Calatafimi Segesta.

Acquired by the Adamo family in the 1930s, it is now the beating heart of Adamo Bio: a place where past and present meet, amid ancient stone fermentation tanks, sunny courtyards and rows of vines that outline the landscape.

Here we produce our organic wines and welcome those who wish to have an authentic experience of land, memory and future visions.

Our Story

Story of a Sicilian family

The story of Adamo Bio is, first and foremost, the story of a Sicilian family deeply connected to its land.

From the pioneering brothers in the early 1900s to Vincenzo - the young custodian of the new organic vision - each generation has carried forward a simple but powerful idea: to cultivate with respect, to transform with conscience, to tell the story of Sicily through wine.

Today, as then, the Adamo family is not just a name on the label, but a living presence at every stage of the work: from the row to the bottle, from hospitality in the Baglio to attention to every detail of the project.
